Keyboard Print Screen Facility

Pressing the Print Screen key on the keyboard takes a picture of your Screen and copies it to a special area of memory called the windows Clipboard. Press the Print Screen key now. Nothing appears to have happened, but you now have a picture of the Screen in the Clipboard.
Open the program called Paint from the Accessories sub-menu after clicking the start button and the All Program.

Press Ctrl + V. You can see the image of your desktop.

Sometimes it is needed to take Screen shot of a specified portion of the whole desktop, like a window or dialog box. For that Windows Vista has a new tool called Snipping Tool? You can find it or two steps below of the Paint Program icon in the Accessories sub-menu.

Clicking on the Snipping tool icon, a new Window will come. Then select Window Snip. And while you move mouse over any of your already opened window, it will point it and click on any of it, it will capture the windows.

Now you can copy the image from here and use it on your purpose.
